Alina’s Fantasy Journey Part 3
After a long walk from the tunnel of dancing leaves, Alina at last arrives to her next destination. The home of a sleeping giant known as the spirit of the woods, but. She knew that in the real world she was the giant, the thought made her chuckle. Just as she did, a voice said “So no longer scared of ghosts right?” Alina peered around the corner of the long walk way, who is it speaking to her?
“Who are you?” Alina asked, she then looked up to see what appeared to be a fish bowl. It had eyes and lips, she looked closer to notice it was made of plants, how strange was that? wait. How strange is it that I am in this place, she thought to herself. “I would like to answer your questions but you have so many!” Alina then looked at the spirit in the eyes and said “Sorry, It’s been a long day” the spirit then nodded “Yes, It has been hasn’t it? but your road home is not far. Just behind me is the path you need to take, just keep walking straight” Alina sighed at the thought of more walking again as she has already been walking non stop. She then wondered if there was something to help her move faster, that’s when she noticed a glimmer on the side of the walls and started digging, she was pleasantly surprised to discover what it was.
Here goes nothing! she thought, granted it felt silly to ride a tri-cycle when she was used to just a regular bike. But, hey it works right? stay tuned for the finale in this 4 part series!

Random Thought For A Random Post
I know I said it before but I will say it again, But. The building I live at really is very Blah! typical wallpaper lining in the hallways and very typical hallway lights.
I’m sure the building upon construction probably got these on a special, why do I say that? because I’ve been to a few apartments and this is the only one that looks so boring. Well, you know what they say if you don’t like something right? either do something about it or let it go. So something is exactly what I decided to do! I went to the library across the street and took a picture of a flower I saw on my way home.
Now, I know the strata council in the building will never go for my next idea. Also, If I went off decorating the lobby’s hallway on my own I’d probably get slapped with some sort of fine. But, they never said anything about working within my own imagination. So, whatever will I do with this delicate beauty and a lamp? How about..this?
Wouldn’t this be a better look? It wouldn’t matter if it’s horribly rainy outside or even cloudy and ugly. At least, I could enjoy seeing something nice before heading out right? ah well, It’s a thought!

The World Of Spheres

The other day, I decided to take the long way home. Figured it wasn’t raining, so why not. I got off two stops earlier on the train than where I’d normally hop off and pulled out my iPhone ready to snap random pictures, They say the best pictures are the most unexpected. So, why not put that to a test right? sure enough! I walked past a shop that sold glass globes with photographs and small figurines inside. The owner of the shop seemed rather bothered by my taking pictures, she didn’t say anything but it was obvious. So, that’s when I just kept on walking and went past a shop selling fresh flowers. I wanted to take snapshots but there were so many people on this busy street that I’d probably just end up taking a picture of someone’s bottom, oh well! I thought to myself and came home. Then I had an idea, why don’t I make my own glass crafts? granted, I can’t make any crafts and I can’t draw so I let the iPad do the drawing for me from the pictures I had previously taken. Hope you enjoy! they will be within the iPhone Gallery’s pull down under “ART” after today

Alina’s fairy tale story part 2
In this next part of the story, Alina has moved deeper into the twisting woods. Lost but confident she will find her way, she walks into a tunnel of leaves. The leaves seemed to sit still, but she could feel the wind circling around her. Ever so gently they whispered “Who are you?” Alina found herself startled and confused, leaves don’t talk do they? well. She woke up in a giant forest, why not? she thought. ” My name is Alina and i woke up here” the leaves rustled and waved about. Alina grew concerned sliding her fingers together, just before she begun to speak the leaves spoke yet again. The same voice said “Head down this tunnel to the very end, there’s someone who can help you” Alina looked down concerned, she couldn’t trust the word of a talking tree leaf could she? the path seemed so dark and she was alone, she hesitated and looked back.
Then, Seemingly out of nowhere rays of light entered this long winding tunnel “Do not worry, we will show you the way. Just follow the light, the forest spirit will answer your questions” Alina stopped before she took the next step “Wait, what spirits? I am not a fan of ghosts!”. She exclaimed but got no reply, the only way out was forward, where would it take her and who’s this spirit they are talking about? the only way to find this answer, was by moving forward which she did hesitantly. What will she find further down? find out, with each post every Wednesday!
I will be there..
If you ever need a shoulder..I will be there..If you should ever need someone to talk to..you have but to ask..If you ever wonder if i can accept all you say..remember..i have loved you all this time..If you ever wonder whether or not i miss you..i still wait for your calls late into the nights..If you should ever doubt my love..remember the first time i looked in your eyes..

Joke 334
Reblogged from The Laughing Housewife:
A man walked along a Californian beach and he stumbled across an old lamp. He picked it up and rubbed it and out popped a genie.
The genie said, “OK. You released me from the lamp, blah blah blah. This is the fourth time this month and I’m getting a little sick of these wishes so you can forget about three.
My Very First YouTube Post ^.^
One day I looked at all of the pictures I’ve been editing and posting, turns out it was taking a lot of space on my iPad so I needed somewhere to store them, didn’t really feel like paying WordPress for more space. So! I decided to make a video on YouTube, hope you will enjoy it as much as I did making it
Random Fun With Photography
Today, work was really dragging for way too long and I was insanely bored. So, I decided to go through my iPhone’s old pictures to look for ideas to follow up my last blog of Alina’s adventures, for some reason this picture caught my eye instead. It must be because the building is so boring and well quite frankly? bleh! the turquoise doesn’t look lively at all. It needed a little something, The wheels inside my head started spinning.
So, I decided it needed a little colour. My first choice? this little park trail that I took a walk through in an early morning, It’s from a park nearby where I live. But, what can I do with this?
An idea came to mind, remember the application I mentioned called Tiny Planets? I have to confess to being very addicted to it. Just so much fun! It created this, so alright. I have colour now for the bleh boring building, but how do I blend them?
I then went back to condominium picture and applied the same effects, which produced this fun picture after I stitched the top and bottom using another app called Autostitch.
It almost looks like I squeezed it and it stayed that way doesn’t it? still, something was missing though! because well. Now it just shows just how much more bland it looks. What if i was to throw a ball at it?
How’s that for a good throw huh?? alright, so I just didn’t know where else to put it. The shape looks like a couple of fan blades doesn’t it? how about we kick it up a notch?
There, now I can confidently say I created a fan. It doesn’t really look like it’s spinning though, so let’s see what we can do about that shall we?
There we go, a little bit better. I wanted to crop the light blue away but wanted to keep the hint that what you see is the condominium a couple or so frames ago. Don’t suppose they would build something like this in real life? Thank you so much for reading this post and I hope you enjoyed your visit

An Adventure Armed With Imagination
In the recent months, I found myself more and more in love with Photography. It became a passion as I saw everything around me become my canvas, everything from simple tree branches to sunlight and the side walk marks. I don’t have a DSLR but I figured as long as I had my Iphone 4, I could work something out. So, I started with taking simple pictures such as the tree that I saw on the way home.
I sat below it for a little bit, looking up the branches and wondering what my daughter must of seen in her younger years. The branches seemed endless and they all lead to their own little paths like never ending mazes, so it gave me the inspiration to use an app called Tiny Planet. Which, allowed me to create something unique.
The iPhone / iPad app created a tunnel of branches and leafs. It took a few tweaks and eventually I created what I saw on my mind. But, then it made me wonder even more when I saw the path in the centre. Where would it lead? I needed inspiration and the curiosity of a child, so I looked through my beautiful daughter’s pictures when she was only three. She had so many questions, so much to discover and so much to try. Just imagine, at her age everything is a new discovery.
This gave me an idea, what if she was to take a walk through the tunnel and discover a new world? what wonders would she find? will she find the mythical world of the giant above the bean stalk?
Stay tuned! more updates to follow in the little lady’s adventures through the unknown! there’s a world out there to discover still!

Butchard Gardens – Victoria BC
British Columbia isn’t well known only for the city of Vancouver. It is also known for a wonderful province called Victoria. It is a beautiful island with some of the most amazing ocean views and the people are really friendly, my friends and i went there sometime ago to do some sightseeing there since they were visiting from Asia. What better place than to show them British Columbia’s pride and joy right? we departed from Vancouver to Tsawwassen ferry terminal at around 5am to beat traffic, luckily everyone was more concerned with trying to get into Vancouver. So, it was a smooth drive.
After arriving at the terminal i realized i didn’t charge my camera enough, so i plugged it into the car’s AC adapter and waited until we could go on board, to be honest i’m not fond of riding on any sort of boat. I can drive for hours but for some reason being tossed in a glorified pop can on water made my stomach uneasy, my friend suggested i chew gum and surprisingly enough it worked! i had a ton of pictures that i took on board. Unfortunately, my iPhone was stolen at work and this was the only picture i had backed up in iTunes.
After the ferry docked we drove for a good 45 or so minutes towards our intended destination, a place that i felt was well worth the sea sickness and really expensive bad coffee on board.
That’s right! The Butchard Gardens. In my opinion? this is the most beautiful garden in all of Canada. There’s just no comparison to the beauty of the place, i picked a select few select favorite pictures to share with you. Otherwise, this would turn into a 30 page long blog, hope you will enjoy the following pictures and believe me! seeing this garden is well worth the trip from wherever you are!
There’s so much more to see than what I was able to post, so if you are ever close to Seattle or Vancouver? take a ferry ride up to visit the gardens. I promise you a memorable experience!
