When Memories Remain

17 Mar

You can try to forget what you feel..throw it all away like a crumpled piece of paper..truth is though you will never forget the places you’ve been with the one you once loved..no matter how hard you try..a part of you will always remain wherever memories were once made..

Love the effect. I also love your word, a reminder to any of us who have loved or were loved. I like how the image of memory is place on crumpled paper.

So true – and it says a lot that the crumpled paper has been ironed out

i agree and it is strange how some little thing you see or maybe hear, will bring back a flood of memories, and sometimes i would rather the past stay in the past.

Sometimes as hard as we try to escape them I guess we just just can’t because our hearts won’t let us.

I agree. There are things that are just best left in the past – they have NO place in the future. However, there’s no doubt that some things that you THOUGHT you left in the past do come back to haunt you later in life. And I guess this ties in with what Andy is saying – maybe you just can’t leave any one thing completely behind.

It’s hard to leave behind, when a strong emotional print is in a certain place. I guess burying the feelings never really helps huh?

So true – although we are pretty good at locking those memories away.

Love the crumpled texture on the photo.

Because in those places the naughty walls that eavesdropped on your love poems, the lonely doorway that was happy to embrace your footsteps, the paintings that felt jealous of your beautiful genuine smiles are trying to bring those memories alive again in the hope they will turn into reality.I believe places derive their life, and beauty from the people living in it that’s why the keep their memories. :)
