Why didn’t I fulfill my dreams? why didn’t I achieve my goals? why am I here? Why am I not where I want to be? we all ask these questions every day. I have no answers, But I put forth this thought. Why ask these questions? why not just take what you have now and shape it into something great? Is that not what we all strive for?

Every day I pass by the library where there’s a small plaza, at the plaza there’s always a guy playing his clarinet.
It sounds terrible and he knows people would wish he’d give up, he can see people looking at him but the ones that are regularly don’t mind at all. They understand that what keeps him going is his passion for what he wants to do. People lack the passion for their goals these days, if you want something badly enough. Then work at it, otherwise if all you do is nothing then all you’ll get is exactly that, something to think about….
Some will see you as someone who passes by, some will see you as someone they work with. Some will even see you as just a friend, but only one will see you as you are. Someone unique and amazing like no other, when you finally find this person. This is when you know you’re finally truly home, don’t let anyone ever tell you or show you otherwise, they don’t understand what they wish they had.
What is it that drives us forward, moves us forward and motivates us to carry on even when the heart wants to give up? is it willpower? maybe. I’d rather think that it is the destination we are trying to get to, we all have our dreams that we would like to see come true. Every dream takes a first step and every step takes us that much closer, don’t stop moving forward and you will always reach your destination. The only thing you will need? is faith and you always had it, you just forgot how much it has helped you through..
Ask not if you can make it. Instead ask why you haven’t yet started,
Ask not if you are strong enough to go on, instead ask yourself what could possibly stop you.
Ask not what’s ahead, instead ask yourself why not go take a look.
Ask not if you’re sure about this, instead ask yourself why not take the first step. Life is about moving forward and learning as you go.
For the first time today, i actually went onto the skytrain with my daughter and noticed that i was actually looked at by a couple of people. It may sound strange but most of the times the women would shun me for looking at them even once, a lot of people like to assume that i am just another one of those deadbeat fathers who cheat on their wives when out with their daughters. I was actually pretty surprised, didn’t know how to react either so i just gave a polite acknowledgement and continued my conversation with my daughter. They smiled and continued about their business with a stare here and there, later on at the amusement park i got a few more looks from people when they were out with family or their bf’s. At first, i thought maybe i had my fly open or there was something on my head. My daughter sensed this and asked me what was wrong and i told her that people were looking at me, she shrugged and then i had a conversation or two with some of the people going for rides. Both times i was also smiled at and then i realized something, it doesn’t matter how bad your day is going. Even if you got a lot on your plate and things aren’t going the way you hoped, a simple hello will go a long ways to relieving someone of something that’s gnawing away at them. It’s quite something!
the other day, at work someone looked at me and they had no idea what my position was at work. They looked at me once and they couldn’t understand why i would get the occupational first aid level 2 ticket, it’s a far cry from the paramedic job that i want to start studying for hopefully in the winter semester. The truth is i want to help people around me, there’s such an incredible sense of satisfaction that comes with healing someone wounded and getting them stabilized enough to either be sent to hospital or make it on their own. I don’t believe life is about making accomplishment for ourselves, in fact what i believe is that it’s what we do for others that counts the most. It’s not for the sense of being recognized either but just to contribute in a world that’s gone so wrong, my passion only grows stronger for the job since i saved a friend from a developing heart attack. If only you knew how great it feels to save someone’s life like this, someone is still alive and has had a lifestyle change because of my actions. So, always pursue the things you are most passionate about and never give up chasing a dream! incredible things happen and the feeling? like no other 
My angel is enjoying her first two months of being a double digit kid, well not a kid really. She’s literally a little lady now, since she was a toddler i always spoken to her like i normally would anyone that comes into my life. Soft and calm but still straight to the point, so she’s practicing the same when talking to me. So, lately we have had very meaningful heart to heart conversations about life and what’s coming. She’s practically a sponge for information, always asking and always learning and at the same time commenting on her opinions. It really is amazing how fast they go from needing to be carried around to looked after, then before you know it they are discussing topics and issues with you. I don’t know where time went, maybe i was so busy trying to pursue a relationship to fill the gap in my life that i didn’t see her develop into the girl she is today. What does this mean though? that i should of spent more time focusing on raising her and less time running around in circles after what would probably never happen? well, i don’t know but i’m happy and am blessed nevertheless for having such a wonderful daughter in my life..
The news was just talking about how genes are the secret to living longer and leading a healthier life, i normally agree with Dr. Ronda from CTVBC but really? how does it make sense to talk about Genes and the probability of mimicking the effects of what the body does? are genes not specific to each individual? anyways! if Doc Ronda Low believes it’s possible then who am i to argue with that
So, what the heck is Andy yapping about this time? well, i don’t think i need to go through some secret ultra expensive therapy that may or may not extend my life, in my own personal opinion, the body already has everything it needs to live longer and an active lifestyle IS important but so is how you feel. If you are going to feel down all the time and always let people walk all over you, then chances are that it will affect your heart and your personal well being. A happy and physically active individual will reach peak body performance all the time because there’s nothing dragging him/her down. Thus, he/she will outlive a lot of people, so surround yourself around people who maintain a positive outlook towards life and support you in everything you do, you’ll see that you’ll appreciate how you are more than someone who just keeps dragging you down and tries to make you feel as bad as they do.
Times change as do people, it’s just something that happens no matter how much we wish they wouldn’t. But you can’t stop change, so you may as well accept people as they are and build what you can together. If it’s meant to be, both of you will change together to something greater than you could imagine, it’s all about faith and how much you want it.
Don’t live in past regrets, it’s already been written in stone and nothing you do will change it. If your heart was broken then it just wasn’t meant to be, so move on and leave the past where it belongs. There’s a future to live for and the world is still moving forward, you don’t want to be left behind do you?

Do you get it? no? are you sure? because this is the third time I’ve told you. That’s right! the key is to listen! that’s all there’s to it! listen to what someone’s telling you and don’t for a second forget it! it’s the key!
I was so busy typing away that i didn’t notice how many visitors i had today, then i saw 54! i’m at loss for words over how flattered i am to have received so many readers! thank you so much for your support and visiting my page, you are my inspiration to write more and with this i have even more confidence to explore the art of writing further! thank you
You know how when you go to a library and you pull out books in the history section, you can find a million quotes all the way from Shakespeare to Winston Churchill? they quoted some of the best and most powerful words in their Era. So what makes us use them here and today? is it because words are powerful enough to motivate us? if that’s the case? how does it fit into today’s life? i wondered what started it and ended with the thought that, maybe it is because through our life experiences we want to share with others what we’ve been through and learned. Instead of one whole sitting explaining how we came across making our own quotes, we turn them into bite size pieces and let the reader interpret it in their own way. At least, that’s my take on it so what do you think?
Don’t doubt the love of the one who could love you like a hundred could, it you’re really on his or her mind then he or she will always show you and never give you a reason to doubt. Actions speak louder than words after all, when emotions alone aren’t enough.
Communication, it’s one of those things couples tend to forget to do and then they end up in a tough place in their relationship. If you don’t say how you feel then how can you expect someone to know? yes, people can probably guess how you feel but assumptions never help anyone. In fact, most of the time it just leads to arguments and really nasty breakups. the worst one, is when you want to say something but you are afraid of what response you’ll get so it builds up inside of you so much that you end up saying the wrong things. Then you can’t take it back anymore, so please always say what you feel and let things happen on their own. If you don’t get the response that you want, it’s alright. At least you received your answer and now you can move on.
I’ve been writing about love and relationships and it’s been a roller coaster ride. I guess it just has been an emotional three months and so on, but i don’t want to bore you folks so i’m thinking that maybe you can suggest topics for me to write about? i really value your readership thank you so much!
Words, we see them everywhere. On newspapers and in the receipt that’s in your hand or a bill that you have on front of you, by themselves they are merely just words put together without meaning. But, then if you join it with other words together, this is when you start creating something. A pair of words start to describe and a set of words start to express, then before long you have created a paragraph and a story is born. The amazing thing about words is, you can influence people with them. If you write about something sad you will have touched someone’s heart in some way, then if you write something inspiring you will have inspired someone to take on a monumental task. There’s no limit to your imagination, you just have to take that first step and set your mind free.
Some write because they want to pass the time, then some people like to write for the reason that they want to express how they feel to everyone and maybe find someone they can relate to. I guess you could say, i’m kind of between those two. I enjoy writing because i have so much to say and these days in this changing world, nobody really has the time to sit down and listen anymore. So, this way i can at least tell you a story and you can take it a bit at a time. If it interests you, the story will still be here for you to read. Often it seems as though i am describing people who are actually in my life, but that’s not always the case. The words i put down here are mostly based on what is going on in my life in the form of experiences and emotions, maybe you might be able to relate to some of the things that i write. If that’s the case, i welcome you to share them with me and talk about it. So, again i thank you for your taking the time to read these posts as it gives me the confidence to some day write better stories. Wishing you all nothing but the best, i hope you all reach your dreams and let nothing stop you from achieving them.
The most painful relationships end in the most emotionally painful way, but the most sincere ones always endure the test of time. I know ours will always make it through, we have had our disagreements and difficult times but it’s never stopped us from remembering what we have.
Though time has passed, i believe that there’s a reason why sometimes we need the space between us. This way at least we know, how much we truly mean to each other and if we both pass the test of time. Then we know this love is meant to be, i know though where i belong and it’s more than i could ever ask for..
The first steps we take, we fall and we stumble. But we always stand right back up and we keep trying even if we hurt ourselves in the process of learning, we scrape our knees when we learn to run but that never stops us from getting right back up again no matter how much the wound hurts us. Maybe we can take a page from our childhood and learn about this in our relationships and the choices we make, we learn to love the ones we feel understand us best. Sometimes when things don’t go the way we hoped it hurts us in our hearts, but despite the pain we feel we still go on. How else, after all would we understand what we desire so much? when we discover this feeling, it’s hard to imagine how we could ever have done without it.
I don’t have much, i know. If i had known where my life would bring me to you today i would of done more in the earlier years, then maybe i would be more the man you want me to be. The truth is i have been foolish into thinking that i’d never come close to being around someone like you, someone who could see right into me and see what i really am like and what i have to give. If i had known we’d share something so unique i wouldn’t of done the things that my memories led me to do, the mistakes of saying the wrong words at the worst times and not seeing how you cared about how i felt. But, that’s in the past now and now i want to move on to this next chapter with you. I hope that in this chapter, we will have a better understanding of each other’s hearts and maybe discover the real reason we have met, i can’t think of anything more that i could ever want to do.

Alright, that’s it. It’s time to turn over a new leaf and start life over again and whatever happens simply will. I can’t run from my demons for the rest of my life and i can’t keep looking back thinking of what could be, i think some changes need to happen and whatever anyone thinks of me? so be it. I’m tired of seeing the world move ahead of me and i’m the only one looking at everyone’s backs looking like an idiot. It’s obvious that when the world is leaving you behind that you better take that first step, unless you are comfortable with being ignored and me? i’d rather not be that person.
We all been there, the moment when we hurt so badly we wish we could just reach in and pull out that part of us, to wish we could simply turn off feelings and be so ice cold that we feel nothing, but we are all only human and we all feel no matter what we do, then some of us ask why god would make us feel so much pain and suffer so much alone, I guess sometimes god wants us to realize that we are stronger than we think, that no matter how much it hurts we are strong enough inside to go through it, even if the rest of the world is moving on without you, I'm not saying it's easy but at least in the long run, you come out stronger and you know you'll be alright.
If you feel something? tell me, if you're thinking about something? share it with me and if there's something you want to tell me, then do it otherwise I'll never know, there's only one lifetime that we are given to understand each other, do you really want to keep me guessing all the while? or do you want me to know so we can build something together? if you feel that it might take us down an uncertain path in this relationship, then let's do it and I'll show you how far I'm willing to go with you, what you will find is I'm not just here for now. I'm here to stay by your side as long as you want me to, if somewhere along the way we lose each other, at least we will both know that we gave it our best, right?
