Decisions..
Is It Monday Still?
You know you are having quite the day, when you hang up on a business director three times. Because you are holding onto the phone handle but the cord is hanging 3 feet down disconnected. Oh man, what else am I being served this morning! X(
Olympic Village Roaming
This weekend, My little lady and I decided to visit the Olympic Village. In downtown Vancouver. I have to confess, I haven’t been there since 2010 when the Winter Olympics was over. During the event the area was restricted only to the athletes and since then I’ve been busy at work, So I figured that since we have the time. Why not?
Upon arriving in the area, we found parking to be insanely difficult. Which is strange, considering over 80% of the village condos were still available for sale. Each one is almost a million dollars a piece, The local newspapers had been saying a ton of negative things about the place. But you know what? it really is nice! there’s not much noise from the main roads and it really does feel like a small village, My daughter and I didn’t have to dodge cars or anything.
The biggest reason I wanted to come visit though, was to take a look for myself just what is out here. Thing is, I can see all of this from my workplace and It didn’t seem right for me to not at least take a peek, even if it’s to see this giant bird here! let me tell you, If Sylvester had seen this bird he wouldn’t think about chasing after tweety bird again! oh no!
Just in case Sylvester tries though? right across the other side, there’s another one. I am very impressed by the details the artist put into his work, Kudos to the effort put in to make it look so life like. It looks brand new despite how it’s been over a year since it was installed, how’s that for craftsmanship huh?
Overall, As short as a visit as it was? it really is a nice place to visit sometime just to sit back and relax, it’s easy enough to get here since the skytrain system does stop here. I know this is a short post and I apologize since I’ve been really busy lately, But I hope you enjoyed the pictures ^_^
A stroll through Lynn Canyon
In North Vancouver, there’s a tucked away beautiful piece of nature called Lynn Valley Canyon. It is where water naturally flows down from the mountain, there’s no cost to get in and there’s a wonderful trail for people looking for a moderate hike. One of the things I very much enjoy is how quiet it gets, there’s no sounds of cars or machines anywhere near. Just you, people around and nature’s wonderful natural music of streams flowing.
The most special thing I find, upon arriving here is the fact that there’s no concrete pavement or rock laid walk way. What you see above, is the path that you follow along to get to whichever viewing point you would like to go.
This is my favourite spot, It’s in between several rocks that you hop over before finally sitting down. Don’t be fooled by how shallow the water looks, there’s even a bit of current that will toss you into the deep end. This nature’s swimming pool and I don’t believe swimming is allowed, I for one wouldn’t. This is a place where people come to admire nature’s beauty after all.
The further up you go towards the woods the calmer the water is, I wanted to show everyone how mother nature paints her world. The trees are incredibly vibrant in their colour, I could spend all day here just taking it in all in and taking pictures.
I know I’m going backwards, but remember the current I spoke of? well. Here it is, water flows much faster further down and it eventually comes down to a reservoir which powers the city through a place called Cleveland Dam. Coming up! in the next post, hope to see you there

A thought..
Sometimes we can’t quite accept what we see, it’s not denial but rather something we simply weren’t prepared for. It hits us hard, but then you have to ask yourself. How will you handle it? are you going to let it get the best of you or will you take it with grace and see the full picture? yeah, I know. It’s not the first time you heard this, but notice how easily it’s forgotten in the heat of the moment? something to think about..

Someone that completes us
There’s always going to be that one person who you will always forgive, no matter how bad they have hurt you. Somehow you feel complete with them and when you aren’t, you will constantly feel like something is missing. I guess, this is what it means to really love someone despite their flaws.

Being excluded – A blunt opinion
When people start to exclude you from certain conversations that you used to share with them, it’s time to realize that you no longer matter enough to them to treat you like a person.
Someone who’s true to you, will never give you any reason to think that you’re someone they can just toss to the side when your served your purpose. It’s sad, but people like these are the ones we all encounter in our lives. So, will you choose to let them walk all over you or cut them lose? they already did it to you after all.
Is searching for love really worth it?
I wonder, what is it that we always seem to feel about someone that makes us so sure that this is someone we want? is it because we want to be accepted? or is because we want the feeling of security? that we don’t have to ever search again? i don’t really know anymore. Every time i try to follow my feelings i seem to come up disappointed, either they are already spoken for or the feeling simply isn’t ever there there from them. So, then i ask myself what is the point and is it really worth it? is it worth the heartbreaks and all the letdowns? maybe i should stop searching altogether and save myself some more disappointing situations, maybe the answers will come to me more so than if i go out there blindly looking for it.
Selfish people – A rant
What is it that makes selfish people the way they are? is it their lashing out at the world for not getting what they want? if that’s the case, what do you do about these people? do you ignore them and hope they will get the hint or do you face them and do the exact thing that feeds their intention? i’m so sick and tired of dealing with people who put their ambitions first, from having to work 4 days with a rat of a coworker to the helicopter that’s outside my apartment hovering daily taking pictures non stop all the while annoying an entire apartment with all the vibrations from the rotors.
I wonder, at what point did these selfish people decide that what they do is acceptable and at what point did these people lose their morals? i’ll never understand how amazingly self serving some people can be, i believe in karma and all but it wouldn’t hurt for karma to teach these people a lesson.
Picture memories
There’s a lady who’s got a small mini slr camera (If there’s such a thing) outside the building and the area taking pictures all over, she’s not trying too hard to take a picture. Just taking a few shots here and there and moving on. Maybe she’s making a gallery or scrapbook? it kind of makes me wonder if I should do the same. I don’t remember a lot of the things that happened in my life up to this point, so something to look back on would be nice. It sure would be fun to just spend a day off from work just traveling all over by skytrain and bus and do the same that she’s doing
The week is going to suck
So for two weeks I was pretty happy at work, I’m a first aid attendant here holding an OFA 2 ticket so it takes quite a bit to ruin my day. But, now the coworker I can better work with is on vacation so now I’m stuck with a coworker who pretends all of a sudden that he can’t speak good English, he speaks French but even that he can’t speak properly. So he gets to do minimal work and gets away with a lot, somehow that also grants him the right to book it out the door before the relief even comes in the door? guy schemes and lies into getting what he wants. So this is going to be a very long two weeks! expect lots of ranting blogs from me
