DP – Uncle Bob? O.o

Today the purple minion of daily post asks

” Have you ever faced a difficult situation when you had to choose between sorting it out yourself, or asking someone else for an easy fix? What did you choose — and would you make the same choice today? “

Truth is I never liked to ask for help for things that I started myself, I mean sure. It may make me sound stubborn as a squirrel in the middle of fall. But, it’s just the way I am. Now, The only time I ever asked for help? Was when I was fighting for joint custody of my child, which is when my family supported me through it all. That’s the beautiful thing about family isn’t it? you can always count on them. Plus, It was also a..Message? to teach my daughter in the process too so she will always know we’ll be here if she ever needs anything. ^.^

  1. I really hate asking for help. But then I realized about a year ago that people are *really* happy to help and it brings them joy to do so. I may not ask for help all the time now, but I’m certainly a little more flexible with asking…

  2. And look at me ! always looking for help from you……hehe …but those were initial blogging days when I had few doubts. Now I am a bit experienced one. To my utter surprise I realized later that all of us had gone through the same situation as a novice. Well we are in the same boat when it comes to the technical issues at WordPress. I am not that bad huh !
Regarding your post you have hit the nail on the head Andy. Family is all about unconditional love and tremendous support. You have seen difficult times. Good to come out of it. Enjoy your daughter’s company. 🙂

  3. Just been reading a very interesting book about permaculture…. I find it very hard to ask for help but giving other people the pleasure of being involved is no bad thing, depending on the circumstances.

  4. I do not like asking for help either. But I love to give help!

This was a beautiful share, in the way that you put it. Yes, your daughter is worth it..and yes, she needed to see how much she matters to you and your family. You are a great example to many.

    Divorce sucks!!
