  1. I really like how the circle of white-yellow [coming from the standing light] is so soft at the bottom of the photo. I feel like I don’t see that many vertically oriented photographs, either, so bravo there. Hope you week has been sweet so far, Andy!

      • Did you apply any filter (if you remember)? Was that a phone photo or did you use another kind of camera? I’m dabbling with my SIL’s camera now, that she gave to me. It’s so sweet (compared with my old one), but so much to learn. I’m still taking really bad, out-of-focus photos with it. Eventually I might get a good one.

      • On this photo? there’s absolutely no filter, I used an iPhone 4 way back in 2009 to take this shot 🙂

Sil camera, As in a dslr or? 🙂

      • Oh, sorry. I meant my sister-in-law gave me the camera (and some nice lenses, too). It’s a Nikon; I think it’s called D90. I’m still a total klutz and dummy with it, so wish me luck. And that’s cool about your photo–No filter. It turned out magical-looking yet soft and beautiful and muted, I love it!
