I was driving to work this morning and it was raining really hard, So I put the windshield wipers on full. It wasn’t enough but I had to get to work no matter what, So I just kept going anyways. Eventually the rain subsided to nothing but a drizzle and it was easier to see. I got to work on time and without any issues, minus the occasional car driving along the shoulder lane who cuts in grudgingly acting as if it was my fault that they didn’t see a parked car.
What’s the point of this story? Well, That drive got me thinking, That it is a lot like the things I have encountered through life. I leave the safe harbour that is my home, to go into the barrage of issues coming at me. I could push them to the side but they’ll still be there and I can’t wait and hope it goes away, otherwise I won’t get anywhere. Nor can I expect that everything will go smooth because there’s always going to be an unexpected obstacle.
Yups! Life doesn’t play fair. Ever, But we can’t give up no matter what it throws at you. So, there it is. My random post of the day, Thank you for reading! ☺️
