An irony

Standard

The sounds of falling snow fill the streets side to side..Thud after thud I hear steps from left to right..What irony this is..The way we struggle to flee the comfort of home to carry on our daily lives

  1. Andy!
This is really wonderful – you need to have your poems put into a collection called seasons!
Also – I am hoping for snow so much right now – so your evening snow at that angle helps me be patient – and hearing the word thud makes me even more so ! Hah

  2. Beautiful photo and true, thoughtful words, Andy. If only everyone (or at least a significant part) of people could do their jobs from home, think of how less polluted, crowded, etc. the world would be. I fear that robots will be doing a lot of that work in the near-future, though! I wish I didn’t have to go out today. In the teens (sorry, I don’t know Celsius that well to convert). But yuck!

    • Exactly! our jobs are all taken up by automation and technological advances make it so one person can do the job of 3, Times are changing whew!

Stay warm when you head out 🙂
